Chez Germaine is a great neighborhood gem. The menu is quite extensive for such a small place (only about ten tables). The escargot, the lamb shank, the sole, and the creme brulé all were excellent. The wine list is very adequate. There was only one server, but still the service was OK. Be sure to book a table in advance.
Service was alright. The French onion soup was not very good; cheese was slightly burnt and the soup was not very flavourful. The duck confit with garlic potatoes was excellent, with every bite falling off the bone. I highly recommend it.
