We come back to this restaurant every time we visit Paris; this is our third time. We love the unique decor creating an intimate dining experience. The food is amazing- always duck confit- and lava cake so so good.We feel like this is our little secret, divine, cool hole in the wall. We love it!!!
Si mangia discretamente, ma ha due grossi difetti: il poco spazio che ti costringe a stare stretto a tavola e a movimenti astrusi per alzarti/sederti, nonché una sola persona a servire che, essendo la maggioranza composta da turisti stranieri, perde molto tempo per spiegare e per capire, con l'inevitabile conseguenza che i tempi di attesa per ordinare si dilatano notevolmente.
What a delight! Chez Germaine is a tiny jewel (bijoux, literally). The family owned restaurant reflects their sense of pride in the quality of food and service. I would recommend particular dishes however, everything that passed through the tiny dining room looked fabulous. Two suggestions: be sure to make reservations and come early as the specials run out quickly.
